I knew that revolving-door, Chinese-factory-surplus-selling burner companies were a thing on Amazon, but this basically proves they're so automated and disposable that nobody even saw the auto-generated listings before they hit the platform. It makes you wonder how many actual companies there are behind the whole charade.

This did make me laugh out loud. That said, it's a little sad that now when I read something online, I'm constantly second-guessing whether a human wrote it or AI.

I really don't want to live in a world where a significant chunk of "human expression" is actually AI autofill, but sadly I know I have no choice. The increase in AI and the feeling that what I see online is becoming even less and less authentic than it already was when humans curated it makes me want to touch grass more than ever.
