🚨🇺🇸OPENAI APPOINTS FORMER NSA HEAD PAUL NAKASONE TO BOARD - Does that make you feel safer? 

Paul M. Nakasone is retired US Army general and former NSA head.

Nakasone, who led the NSA from 2018 to 2023, will join OpenAI's Safety and Security Committee. 

He will help improve AI’s role in cybersecurity by detecting and responding to threats quickly. 

His appointment follows concerns over safety culture at OpenAI.

I’m Sam, I’m the curriculum director at Gregorio Perfecto High School in Manila, Philippines. I’ve been an educator and administrator for just over 25 years. Our school is spending a good amount on edtech, but I don’t feel like we’re getting the most out of it. I’d love to learn from everyone what is working for them. Thanks!
