Not sure what was expecting, but you can easily use puppeteer, sequancial thinking, take screenshots, build websites… agents, and spin off your own agents in IDE. 

So not sure what an add value for me is with Manus. Except that it’s a bit abstracted / easy to use from a browser.

I haven’t tried it yet.  What were you expecting that it fell short of? @Jozhe

So far not impressed. Feel like I can easily achieve the same things woth Cursor/Trae. But I guess it might be more user friendly to non developers 🤔

The Chinese startup, called Butterfly Effect, recently raised $75 million, at a valuation of $500 million, in a funding round led by Benchmark. Manus, which the startup launched in early March, browses websites to execute tasks like travel booking and stock analysis. It went viral on social media and attracted a lot of attention from U.S. developers and investors.

Butterfly Effect’s leaders are exploring plans to set up new headquarters outside China and other changes to the startup’s corporate structure in order to navigate potential geopolitical and regulatory risks.
